Nine steps, in order. Most shops get through all of them in under an hour. Work top to bottom and you'll be ready to take your first real order with confidence.
Link the number your customers will message, and confirm it shows as verified in Settings → WhatsApp. This is the one step everything else depends on.
Not sure how? See how connecting works.
Add at least one product per category, with a clear photo and an accurate price. A short, correct catalog beats a long, stale one — you can always add more once you're live.
In Settings → Payouts, confirm the MoMo number and network where your money should land. Double-check the digits — this is where every paid order settles.
Let customers know when you're open so WA-B can set expectations automatically outside those hours. If you deliver, add your zones and fees now rather than mid-order.
The first thing a customer sees when they say "Hi." Keep it short, on-brand, and clear about what to do next — most shops just need a warm greeting and an Order Now button.
Message your own WhatsApp number from another phone. Walk through the whole flow: browse, order, pay. A small real MoMo payment is the only way to be sure the money side actually works before a customer tries it.
If anyone else will take or fulfill orders, add them from the dashboard with the right role so they see what they need — and nothing they don't.
Put your WhatsApp number and order link everywhere customers already look: social bio, status, signage, business cards, existing group chats.
Optional, but a good habit from day one — a simple "we're live on WhatsApp now" message to customers who've already messaged you sets the tone for everything after.
